" class="fw_link_website" >The Hoss
The Hoss is a coming 3 year old Draft type stallion. He is out of *DCC Drifter ABC 2287 ~ ICHO 50-D X Clydesdale mare Jewel. Hoss has been inspected through the North American Curly Horse Inspection Program by Certified Judge Ann Marie Gregoire. Hoss' inspection score is available on request. Video and pictures available. Hoss has grown a bit since these pictures were taken, check back soon for more recent photos !
Hoss stands at 16 hands and is still growing. Hoss has excellent bone, beautiful trot and a lovely rocking horse canter. He is not gaited. He has been started lightly under saddle and will have more training as he matures. Hoss has a full, double mane and thick, long tail. He keeps his curly coat during the summer months and does not shed mane or tail hair. Excellent disposition, substantial bone and highly intelligent. Hoss would cross nicely with a sport type mare, Arabian, or Draft. He does carry gaited bloodlines on his sire's side, and would likely produce a gaited foal when bred to a gaited mare.
We are expecting two foals out of Hoss in 2008, and will post pictures of them when they arrive !
Introductory stud fee for 2008 ~ $400.00

Chip's curly foals have had exceptionally thick curly coats. All his foals have shown sabino markings, one being a Maximum White Sabino Colt.

Toby is a 7 year old curly pony stallion out of *Warrior's Black Velvet and a black and whiite pony mare. He is approximately 14 hands tall, weighs 750 pounds. Toby has a very solid build, nice muscling, sturdy legs and feet. He has a friendly disposition and has been started in training. He has a lot of presence and awesome gaits. Toby is a stock type stallion, but does have some NSSHA on his dam's side. He would cross well with either a stock type or gaited mare. We also own a daughter of Toby's, Pippi. Although she is out of a Paint mare, she is also curly and has the same great personality and willing attitude as her sire. We expect one foal by Toby this year out of our Quarter Horse mare, Misty.
Toby will be available for breeding to registered Curly mares in Spring of 2009. He is available in 2008 to grade mares, with preference given to straight coated mares. Toby will be registered with the International Curly Horse Organization, and we plan to have him inspected through NACHIP. Video and pictures of Toby available at request.

Stud Fee $250.00 USD Live Cover only at this time
We would consider leasing Toby for breeding to a licensed Curly horse breeder by private treaty.

Lightning is trained to ground drive and do showmanship for his young owner who has worked with him exclusively since he was born. He is truly a joy to be around and work with.
