Taz has been sold. Congratulations to the Carney Family of Logansport, Indiana.
Taz will be 2 years old in June of 2008. Taz is super curly, has a double mane and full tail. He shows five gaits- the walk, flat walk, foxtrot, trot, and canter. Taz is easy to handle, has a sweet, calm dispostion and awesome gaits. He will mature well over 15 hands. Taz has two full siblings that have been started and ridden under saddle, one being exported to Europe as gaited breeding stock, and the other is a family horse ridden and shown by a young girl. Taz has the potential to be trained as a 5 gaited mount. Full brother is 4 years old and very competetive in English Pleasure and beginning Hunter with a Junior rider. Taz is as gentle as they come and is going to make an excellent companion mount with potential to go far in the show arena.
Ta has been gelded. He is starting light training and doing very well. He will not be ridden for a while yet, but we will school him in basic skills such as accepting saddle and bridle, longing and ground driving. He is very eager to please and calm. He will likely travel to a few local events to get him used to loudspeakers and crowds also. Check back often for training updates!

About Misty a/k/a "Curly Sue"
Curly Sue is one of our favorite riding horses. She is being sold only because we need to reduce our herd. She is a stock type, large sized pony mare. Curly Sue has a wonderful personality. She is quiet, leads, ties, loads, stands quietly for vet and farrier. She is UTD on all shots, worming and farrier. Curly Sue has been shown by children at Curly horse shows, Open shows, 4-H, been in parades, given pony rides, and done breed demonstrations. She is not spooky, no vices. She is safe for child , disabled, or novice riders, but is an excellent mount for an experienced rider as well. She has a natural head set, slow jog and lope. She excels at trail obstacles and will do anything a rider asks of her. Curly Sue is 5 years old. She is confirmed with foal and due soon. This mare is solid foundation Curly, out of *Warrior King and a Hammrich mare. She has been DNA 'd through the ABCR , and we are working on her papers through ICHO( International Curly Horse Organization). She has had one foal , a curly filly, out of our Foundation Appaloosa stallion. We are willing to negotiate with a buyer on the foal she is now carrying. Will take deposit on this mare to hold her until the foal is weaned.
This pony is a perfect child or beginner horse, large enough for a small adult. She rides English and Western, has been ridden on only a halter with a rope attached with no problem. She has never had a headset or any training device put on her, and is usually ridden in a simple snaffle bit. Very gentle and has not caused any allergic reactions. 2008 Gaited Curly Colt ~ *Drifter's Spring Frost - full ABC colt
This boy is out of *DCC Drifter and *Silvie Rose of Sharon. He is eligible for full ABC registration. Should mature to 15 hands. Chestnut base color but we believe he will roan out and show sabino markings. Born on May 13, 2008. Showing his foxtrot on day one, he will be a super smooth ride with lots of mane and tail.
